There was a female pharaoh who ruled ancient Egypt as a man

Hatshepsut, one of the most successful pharaohs of all time, ruled Egypt from 1479 to 1458 BCE. Born into a royal family, she became regent for her stepson Thutmose III, but eventually took on the full powers of pharaoh, adopting a male name and persona. Her reign was marked by extensive trade and military campaigns, earning her the nickname "The Female Napoleon". Despite her impressive achievements, her male successors attempted to erase her from history, but archaeological discoveries have confirmed her legacy.
