There's an AI that can write its own operating system in minutes - Apparently.
In 2016, a team of researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, developed an artificial intelligence system that could generate its own operating system in a matter of minutes. The AI, called "OSv", used a combination of machine learning algorithms and existing code to create a fully functional operating system. In a demonstration, OSv generated a Linux-based OS in just 3 minutes and 45 seconds, making it the fastest OS development in history.
