There's a type of jellyfish that's immortal

The Turritopsis dohrnii, also known as the "immortal jellyfish," is a species of jellyfish that can transform its body into a younger state through a process called transdifferentiation. This means it can essentially revert back to its polyp stage, allowing it to bypass the normal process of aging and death. While it can still be injured or killed, its ability to regenerate its body has led some scientists to call it "immortal." This process is still not fully understood and is currently being studied by scientists.
