There's a town in the US where the sun does not set for 62 days in the summer - Apparently.
Located in Alaska, Utqiagvik (formerly known as Barrow) is the northernmost city in the United States. During the summer solstice, the sun remains visible on the horizon for 24 hours a day, but in July, it remains above the horizon for 62 consecutive days. This phenomenon occurs because the town is situated at a latitude of 71°17’14”N, where the sun's path is high in the sky, and the Arctic Circle's unique tilt causes the sun to remain visible for an extended period.
