There's a Town in the United States with a Permanent "Supercell Alley"

The town of Greensburg, Kansas, has been dubbed "Tornado Alley" due to its high frequency of twisters, but it's also situated in a unique region known as "Supercell Alley". Supercells are powerful, rotating thunderstorms that can produce massive tornadoes. Between 1950 and 2019, Greensburg was hit by 69 tornadoes, including a devastating EF5 tornado in 2007 that destroyed 95% of the town. The town's location at the intersection of several weather patterns makes it a hotspot for severe weather events.
