When the eggs hatch, the Tachinid larvae feed on the wasp's internal organs, eventually killing it. But here's the strange part: the wasp's body can still function for a short time, and the Tachinid larvae can even control the wasp's movements, making it behave like a "zombie" to protect the larvae from predators.
