There's a Map That's Been Corrected Every Day for 70 Years

The "World Map" in the lobby of the American Geographical Society Library in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been updated daily with a red pencil since 1948. The map is a large, 6' x 12' representation of the world, and a team of librarians has been responsible for keeping it current with the latest geographical changes. The librarians have been updating the map daily, with an average of 2-3 corrections per day, resulting in over 25,000 changes since its creation.
