Lake Natron in Tanzania is a saline, alkaline lake that reflects the sky perfectly, creating a surreal mirror-like effect. The unique combination of minerals in the lake, including sodium carbonate, creates a surface tension that acts as a mirror, making it appear as if the sky is reflected in the water. This phenomenon occurs due to the lake's extremely high pH level, which is around 10.5, and is only visible during the dry season, typically from June to October.
