There's a lake that's a giant sinkhole - Apparently.

Lake Vostok, located in Antarctica, is a massive subglacial lake that's approximately 250 kilometers (155 miles) long and 50 kilometers (31 miles) wide. It's surrounded by a thick ice sheet, up to 4,000 meters (13,124 feet) thick in some areas, and is considered one of the largest and most remote lakes on Earth. Scientists have been studying the lake since the 1970s, but its extreme conditions have made it difficult to explore.
