There's a giant map etched into the side of a mountain - Apparently.
In the remote mountains of Kyrgyzstan, a 20th-century Soviet cartographer named Mikhail Mikhailovich Gerasimov created a massive 100x100 meter map of the Soviet Union's borders etched into the side of a mountain. The map, known as the "Map of the World," was completed in 1960 and is still visible today despite being largely overgrown by vegetation. Measuring nearly 10,000 square meters, it's considered one of the largest maps ever created.
