There's a Giant Crystal Cave in Mexico
Deep within the Naica Mine in Chihuahua, Mexico, lies the Cave of the Crystals, a vast cavern filled with towering selenite crystals that can reach up to 36 feet in length and weigh over 55 tons. The cave's unique conditions, including high temperatures and mineral-rich water, allowed these massive crystals to form over millions of years. Discovered in 2000, the cave's extreme conditions made it inaccessible to humans for years, but in 2010, a team of explorers successfully mapped and surveyed the cave.
