There's a forest made entirely of human skulls in India - Apparently.
In the 16th century, the city of Varanasi in India was the site of numerous battles and executions, resulting in a massive collection of human skulls. Over time, these skulls were buried and then unearthed, and eventually, a forest of human skulls emerged. Today, the "Skull Forest" or "Khadiravaar" is a 1-square-mile area where the remains of over 2 million people are said to be buried.
This forest is believed to be the final resting place for those who have not been cremated according to Hindu tradition, which requires that the deceased be cremated on the banks of the Ganges River.
