There's a computer program that generates convincing, centuries-old, handwritten documents

In 2019, a team of researchers at the University of Cambridge developed a neural network called "FontGen" that can create realistic, handwritten text in the style of famous artists from the 17th to 19th centuries. The program can mimic the handwriting of over 1,000 artists, including masters like Rembrandt and Monet. By analyzing the style and techniques of the artists, FontGen can generate texts that are difficult to distinguish from the originals.
