There's a 5,000-year-old Irish village submerged underwater - Apparently.
The village of Loughcrew, located in County Meath, Ireland, was a thriving settlement during the Neolithic period. It's believed to have been flooded around 3,000 BC when the sea levels rose, causing the village to be submerged underwater. Excavations in the 1960s uncovered a number of ancient artifacts, including pottery and tools, which are now on display in the National Museum of Ireland. The site remains one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in Irish history.
