There's a 5,000-year-old ancient monument in Ireland that's a 90-foot-tall stone circle

The Meehambee Dolmen, located on the Aran Islands, is one of the oldest and most enigmatic megalithic structures in Ireland. Dating back to the Late Neolithic period, around 3000 BC, this imposing stone circle was likely used for ceremonial or burial purposes. Measuring 90 feet in diameter, the site consists of 15 large stones, including the iconic Meehambee Dolmen itself, which stands over 30 feet tall. Despite its age, the site remains remarkably well-preserved, and archaeologists have made significant discoveries about ancient Irish culture.
