The "Undulatus asperatus" cloud is a rare and unusual cloud formation that resembles a ship or a wave. It was first described in 2009 by a group of British cloud spotters, who proposed it as a new type of cloud to be added to the International Cloud Atlas. The name "asperatus" means "rough" in Latin, and "undulatus" means "wavy", which aptly describes the cloud's irregular, wavy shape.
