There is a shipwreck that's been on the ocean floor for over 2,000 years. - Apparently.
The Antikythera ship, discovered in 1900, was carrying a cargo of marble statues, gold jewelry, and other treasures when it sank off the Greek island of Antikythera. The wreck was found at a depth of about 50 meters, and archaeologists have been excavating it since the 1970s. Among the artifacts recovered is the Antikythera mechanism, an ancient analog computer that's been dated to around 100 BCE.
