There is a Map That's Been Missing for 25 Years - Apparently.
The 1942 version of the British Admiralty Chart 2702, which mapped the waters off the coast of South Africa, went missing in 1997. The map is valued at over $1 million due to its rarity and historical significance. According to the International Hydrographic Organization, the map is still listed as missing, and a thorough search of the British National Archives has yielded no results.
