There is a lake in Africa that is a saltwater lake at the same time as a freshwater lake - Apparently.
Lake Tanganyika, located in Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo, is the second-deepest lake in the world, with a maximum depth of 1,470 meters. However, despite being a saltwater lake, it is also home to over 200 species of fish, many of which are found nowhere else in the world. This unique combination is due to the lake's extreme depth, which creates a separate layer of freshwater above the saltwater below.
