There is a giant prime number - Apparently.
In 2018, a team of mathematicians discovered a prime number with 24,862,048 digits, making it the largest known prime at the time. The number, known as M825, was discovered using a distributed computing project called GIMPS (Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search). This giant prime is too large to be written out in full, but its discovery has been verified through multiple computations and has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the largest known prime number.
