There is a giant prime number
The largest known prime number, as of 2018, is a 23.2 million-digit number, known as M82, and was discovered by a team of mathematicians using a distributed computing project called GIMPS (Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search). This prime number is so large that it would take a person thousands of years to write it out by hand. Despite its enormity, M82 is still just one of many prime numbers, and mathematicians continue to search for even larger ones.
