There is a car with a built-in parachute - Apparently.
The 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza SS 450, a rare and experimental car, was equipped with a unique parachute system designed to deploy in emergency situations. This system, developed by Lockheed's Skunk Works, was meant to provide an additional safety feature for high-performance vehicles. Only 200 of these cars were produced, and the parachute system was never used in a real-world emergency.
