There is a 3-kilometer-long map that folds into a small box - Apparently.
The Map of the Month club, a subscription service, sends a new, oversized map to its members every month. One of these maps is the 3-kilometer-long map of the city of Dresden, Germany, which is printed on a single sheet of paper. To make it easier to store and mail, the map is designed to fold into a small box, making it a remarkable feat of cartography and engineering. The map is 3 kilometers long when unfolded, but only 25 centimeters (9.8 inches) tall when folded.
