In 1956, a man named Harold Staines built the Peel P50, a car that measures just 1.48 meters (4.9 feet) in length and 1.2 meters (3.9 feet) in width. The Peel P50 was certified as the smallest car in the world by the Guinness World Records and has a top speed of about 30 miles per hour. Only 50 of these tiny cars were produced, and they are now highly sought after by collectors.
