The World's Largest Painted Egg is a Record Holder - Apparently.
In 2010, a team of artists in Illinois, USA, created a massive egg-shaped sculpture measuring 24 feet 2 inches tall and 18 feet 8 inches wide, using over 1,400 pounds of paint. The gigantic egg was certified by Guinness World Records as the largest painted egg in the world. The artwork was displayed at the Illinois State Fair and was later auctioned off to benefit local art programs.
