The shortest war in history was between two insects

The Bruneian War, also known as the Anglo-Dutch Treaty War, lasted only 22 days in 1988. However, this fact is not about a war between humans. The shortest war in recorded history is actually between the United States and the British Empire, but in the context of insects, it's the "War" between the ants of two colonies in Arizona, USA. In 1859, a dispute between two ant colonies led to a battle that lasted only 24 hours.
