The Shortest Castle in the World
The shortest castle in the world is Hunebed D46, located in the Netherlands. This miniature castle measures just 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) in height and was built around 2800 BC, making it one of the oldest known castles in the world. Despite its small size, Hunebed D46 is a remarkably well-preserved example of a Neolithic tomb, featuring a circular mound and a dolmen-like structure.
