The Newgrange monument in County Meath, Ireland is a prehistoric passage tomb that predates Stonehenge and is older than the Pyramids of Giza. Dating back to around 3,200 BC, it features a narrow passageway leading to a large, circular chamber illuminated by a beam of sunlight on the winter solstice. The tomb's intricate stone carvings and precise astronomical alignments demonstrate the advanced knowledge and engineering skills of the ancient Irish builders.
