The Blarney Stone's original owner was a Norman

The Blarney Stone, located in County Cork, Ireland, is a famous kissing stone said to give the gift of eloquence to those who kiss it. While many know it's a popular tourist attraction, few know that it was originally part of the Norman castle built by Lord Thomas de Clare in 1210. The stone was later owned by the Butler family, Earls of Ormonde, who claimed it as a symbol of their Norman heritage.
