The Beatles' "Yesterday" was originally titled "Scrambled Eggs"

In 1965, Paul McCartney wrote the melody for what would become one of the Beatles' most famous songs, but he didn't have any lyrics. He hummed a tune into a tape recorder, and later wrote the lyrics as "Scrambled Eggs" to fit the melody. It wasn't until 1965, when the song was officially recorded, that the title was changed to "Yesterday".
