Ireland has a 5,000-year-old underwater monument

The Poulnabrone Dolmen, a prehistoric monument, was built around 2500 BC and stands in the Burren region of County Clare. It's an impressive example of Neolithic engineering, with 42 upright stones supporting a massive stone slab weighing around 1.5 tons. The monument was submerged underwater for thousands of years, until the sea receded due to changes in the coastline. Today, it's one of Ireland's most famous archaeological sites and a testament to the ingenuity of ancient Irish builders.
