Greenland has more ice than land - Apparently.
Greenland, a country often associated with ice, actually has more ice than land. Despite its name, only about 12% of Greenland's surface is land, the remaining 88% being covered in ice. This is due to the country's unique geography, which was shaped by millions of years of ice sheet movement. The ice sheets cover over 1.7 million square kilometers, making them the second-largest ice body in the world, after Antarctica.
